Grassroots drifting at Nashville Fair Ground Speedway
This is the third event that I had ever been apart of and was met with some very new challenges. Being new to drifting on tracks I had to learn how to get close to walls without hitting them or totaling my car. I learn how to transition down straights in order to get to the next turn without losing the drift. I had a few close calls and was nervous about trying this with only a few track runs under my belt. Berry Clapp, owner of Tennessee Drift, looked at me with confidence and assured me that I would be successful, but not to get over zealous. Heeding his words of advise I went for it and had the most fun I had ever had at a drift event. That event will live with me forever as the best. No trophies, no winners, no podiums, just drift.
